Sanford Contracting Inc. has incorporated the new Massachusetts State Energy Code requirements into our panel system. Our redesigned cavity wall panel system has the insulation at the exterior to meet the requirement, yet still has all the components that makes our system superior. In our production facility we are currently fabricating the exterior of a seven story Bio-Tech facility at Kendall Square in Cambridge.

The prefabricated panels consist of a modified non pressurized rain screen with Tetramade Terracotta stone exterior. These shop applied terracotta stone panels gave the designer the high tech look at a fraction of the cost of field applied stone veneer.

Currently we are shop fabricating a four story thin brick panelized exterior wall for the Four Points Sheraton in Norwood Ma. This system is unique for it incorporates the current Massachusetts code requirement that the insulation be external to the vapor barrier yet still uses a cement board back up for the thin brick veneer.
